Chicha
1. If you feel like having a burger- do not hesitate and enjoy the juicy patty in a picturesque neighborhood with the view of the yachts. Every burger is unique and you can choose from dozens of options no matter if you're a meat-lover or a strict vegetarian. Black bun? Real edible gold? Try these at a reasonable cost in the range of 150- 250 egp per dish. Oh, and they deliver around Gouna!
2. Sotto Sopra- this tiny outdoor trattoria will sweep you off your feet with its delicious pizza and pasta (tho we recommend pizza the most, it's undoubtedly the best in town). Do it Italian way and sip the juicy sweet sangria while waiting for the crusty heaven to arrive. Although the place has only outdoor tables, they provide you with cozy blankets to keep you warm even in the chilly evenings.
3. Thai cuisine's devotees will find some of the best dishes in White Elephant, a restaurant run by a real Thai family, sticking to traditional flavors and ways of preparing food. The prices are pretty decent and it's a great value for money compared to the vast majority of Gouna's high-end spots.
4. You cannot call yourself a Gounie if you have never had breakfast at Malu's Deli. The swiss cafeteria offers healthy slow food (sometimes might be very slow, so get yourself some more time when going there), freshly pressed juices and vegan contemporary dishes (they have meat too!).
5. A long-awaited, Gouna's real taco place opened in Downtown in the second half of 2019 and offers a modern attempt to traditional Latin American cuisine. The eye-catching design outshone most of the nearby restaurants, making Chicha a go-to place for a long time... Inshaallah!
